      A 2017 report from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) estimated that 35% of all microplastics in the ocean came from the washing of synthetic textiles like polyester. These tiny fibres and flakes of plastics come off clothes in the washing machine and end up in our rivers, lakes, seas. Then, after being digested by wildlife, they bioaccumulate through food chains and back into human digestive systems. This is really not good. Immediate change is as simple as making clothes from plants, not plastic. It\u2019s why it\u2019s important to us to use natural materials like organic cotton. Natural materials are compatible with nature and they\u2019re a solution to pollution. The clue is in the name.<\/p>

      Did you know you can send your worn out products back to us to be remade? When a product arrives back, it is sent off to our partners to be shredded. Shredded material is broken down and respun into Remill yarn (50% recycled organic cotton and 50% organic cotton), dyed, then cut and sewn. The new Remill product is ready to be printed on demand, just like our other products, and can be sent back, again and again, to keep material in the loop.<\/p>

      Our products are vegan-friendly. They are not tested on animals and do not contain any animal-derived content. Yet true environmentalism is about more than just what we don't do. At every stage of our supply chain, care is taken to make sure that nature thrives. It starts with the noise of the bugs, bees and birds that live in the fields where our pesticide-free organic cotton is grown. And it ends there too, because using natural materials - instead of plastic - means that one day that material will end up back in a natural process.
